The Amazonian Flooded Forest exhibit showcases the rainforest during the rainy season, when much of the lowland areas near rivers are flooded. Fish, aquatic reptiles, amphibians and mammals move inland, feeding on previously fallen fruits, nuts and insects that couldn't escape the water's reach. This exhibit can be viewed and occupied both above and below the waterline.
